BEING in the Spirit of Love…

We are the LOVE we seek.

The Spirit of Christmas is in the air, which means that a lot of love is being expressed through the greeting cards that are sent, the gifts that are given, the sharing of joyful times with family and friends, the coming together of people in support of those in need, and so much more.   The Christmas Spirit is a wonderful thing to behold because it brings to light that innate joy present in each one of us.  It is truly within this vibration of love that we have our being…our divine connection to each other that propels us forward into that sacred space where everything has meaning and is full of purpose.  Love in this greater sense is a state of being, and reflects more of what emanates from the heart than from the mind.

Being fully present in this love is a magnificent way to experience life.  It is the only way for us to truly demonstrate who we are in our authenticity.  This is because WE ARE LOVE AT THE VERY CORE OF OUR BEING.  This love cannot be extinguished regardless of what we may experience in our lives.  For instance, have you every been mad at someone and in a spontaneously shared moment of joy forgot that you were mad?   Why is that?   Each one of us has a spark within us that continues to glow regardless of what is going on with our thoughts.  It is in moments such as these when we have let go of our controlled thoughts and allowed our authentic nature to shine through…we were simply pure love  in that precious moment.

We are encouraged to be open and receptive to life and be grateful for every moment.  Being in the Spirit of Love is when we allow life to flow through us naturally without feeling the need to control everything.  In fact, I believe that whenever we feel like we are pushing that proverbial rock up-hill,  it is probably not the way to go.  Going with the flow is always easier than forcing things  don’t you think?  This does not mean we don’t put any effort into things we may want to accomplish or change, we are just encouraged to let go of how things “should” be and allow our innate wisdom to guide us into doing what is in keeping with our authenticity.  There is always a way…we need only to listen within.

Being open and accepting of change is another way to allow life to move through us.  Life is about change because it is how we grow and evolve into something even more profound.  Change is imminent.  Nothing remains the same  because people evolve in their thinking.  Life is filled with inspirational ideas and innovative ways of doing things by people who are open and not resistant to change.  When we truly accept that change is inevitable, we will come to understand that everything is always in divine order regardless of what it may looks like.  We are creating change in every moment.

I believe we all came to this existence with a divine purpose.  Being in the Spirit of Love encourages us to share what is authentic about us with others.  The gifts we have are meant to be shared, not held on to.  While we may be fundamentally the same, we each have a unique way of being in the world.  So, what talent or ability do you have that can benefit others?  Is it the gift of music?  Do you possess writing skills?  Do you have the ability to promote healing?  Do you love to tell stories?  Are you an artist at heart?  If you are not sure what your particular gift or gifts are, ask yourself what you are passionate about.  The gifts are in what you love to do.  We are all encouraged to accept our gifts and feel confident that we have them for a reason.  Follow your heart…don’t allow your mind to keep you from doing what you love.  When we allow our brilliance  to shine, we inspire others to do the same.

Living in our natural state of being…of love that is, we will feel a kind of inner joy that cannot be measured.  We will be spontaneously kind, compassionate and emit such a beautiful radiance that it will naturally affect everyone and everything around us.  We will find ourselves surrounded by people who truly love and support us.  When we become this conscious of who and what we are in our truest form, our whole demeanor changes because we will know what it is to live in grace.  We will be more at peace with ourselves and what unfolds around us.  We will find even more things to be grateful for.   We will forgive ourselves and others more readily.   We will be in the flow of life allowing our divine essence to direct our entire being.  That same essence will emanate forward into the world with a gentle yet powerful  force that will help change the consciousness of mankind it its evolutionary process of life.  We all make a difference by our very presence…our being.

Let us all be that divine presence that says “yes” to life and allow that same essence to shine with a kind of openness that invites others to partake of life in the same manner.  Dare to be that brilliant energy of light, and let us continue to seek out ways to be in the Spirit of Love from our heart-space.  And in the process be assured and with the utmost confidence know that we are always supported by a most loving Universe.

Thank you for allowing me to share my thoughts with you.

Much Love and Peaceful Blessings to you and all those you hold dear during these beautiful Holidays.  Namaste.

Thanks for your inspirational thoughts on your blog. I am a simple man and would offer you a pattern of behavior for those that you inspire. In our world today we meet many people that serve us in many ways, from the McDonald hamburger store to the grocery story. I make a prayerful effort to thank each person for their “kindness”. even if they were unkind. It has added great value to my life.
